[edit]- Creates the superlative when preceding the comparative form of an adjective or an adverb.
- àrd - high
- a b' àirde - highest
- fuar - cold
- a b' fhuaire - coldest
- àrd - high
Usage notes
[edit]- Only used in the past tense and the conditional mood. In the present and future tenses, as is used.
- Only used before vowels and words beginning with fh followed by a vowel, otherwise a bu is used.
