Etymology
From bidoo, from *bidolo, from Lua error in Module:parameters at line 290: Parameter 2 should be a valid language, etymology language or family code; the value "qfa-sub-ibe" is not valid. See WT:LOL, WT:LOL/E and WT:LOF. *betŭlo, ultimately from Proto-Celtic *betu- (“birch”), from Proto-Indo-European *gʷet- (“resin, pitch”).[1][2] The tonic i can be due to the influence of Germanic forms (cf. English birch) during the early Middle Ages.[3]
