Etymology

Uncertain. Possibly from Gothic *𐌱𐍂𐌰𐌿𐌸 (*brauþ, bread), from Proto-Germanic *braudą (cooked food, leavened bread). Alternatively, perhaps from Lua error in Module:parameters at line 303: Parameter 2 should be a valid language, etymology language or family code; the value "qfa-sub-ibe" is not valid. See WT:LOL, WT:LOL/E and WT:LOF..
