Why am I blocked?

Hello, can some1 plz tell me why i've been blocked by User:Chuck Entz from editing pages on wiktionary? I get that somebody is doing sockpuppeting or block evasion or ip hopping. I ain't got the foggiest idea who that somebody is, but i'd gladly help u if i knew :).

What i don't understand why MY ip range is blocked, bcuz NOBODY in my range has ever even made any wiktionary contributions, bad or good. [[1]]

When i attempt to edit any page, even a talk page, this pops up:

Your username or IP address has been blocked.

The reason given is:

   There are multiple blocks against your account and/or IP address.

   Start of block: 18:20, 5 November 2021
   Expiration of longest block: 03:04, 2 May 2022

   Relevant block IDs: #212565, #212500 (your IP address may also appear in a blocklist)

There is a very prolific account that has used this range and which we blocked. As soon as they were blocked, they started prolific logged-out editing, switching ip ranges as each range was blocked. I blocked all of their ip ranges as a preemptive measure. At the time I checked for edits, and no one else had used this range, logged in or logged out, during the 90 days for which I had data. Given that they only used this range once, the block was no doubt overkill. Your device information doesn't match anything the other account used, so I've removed the block and will block a narrower range if that user starts another editing spree. My apologies.
