[edit]Borrowed from Javanese ꦲꦤ꧀ꦝꦥ꧀ (andhap, “low”), from Old Javanese aṇḍap, haṇḍap (“low”), ultimately from Proto-Mon-Khmer *daap (“low”). Doublet of andap.
