Esperanto[edit]
Etymology[edit]
From Latin Flōra (Roman goddess of flowers). The vowel was possibly modified by analogy with faŭno (“fauna”) to avoid homophony with floro (“flower”), with which it is a doublet.
Pronunciation[edit]

flaŭro (accusative singular flaŭron, plural flaŭroj, accusative plural flaŭrojn)
