ʼa- (away) + -∅- (3rd person subject prefix) + -∅- (classifier)-tʼééh (imperfective stem of root -TʼIʼ, “a slender flexible object extends”).

  1. it extends away out of sight (as a rope, a fence or tracks)
  2. (with bíniʼ) he/she/it longs for it (food, water, cigarette)
    Télii éí tóógóó tʼéiyá bíniʼ iitʼééh.The burro is just longing for water.
  3. (with bíniʼ) he/she/it worries about it
    Shaʼáłchíní bichʼįʼ shíniʼ iitʼééh.I'm worried about my children.
