  1. a kind of insect that has a pair of hard outer wings to cover a pair of inner soft wings, feeds on green leaves, especially young leaves like illipe and durian leaves, is edible. There are two types of lukung; lukung kaban, that live ina colony. and lukung kapu, with lime-liked outer wings.
