From muj, a Gheg variant of mund (attested in Meshari), from (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Proto-Albanian *magti-on with diphthongized a > ou before stops, from (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Proto-Indo-European *mag (be able, have power). Compare German Macht, English might.
