Etymology[edit]

From Proto-Inuit *nuanniʁ- (enjoy oneself, pleasant, enjoyable), from Proto-Eskimo *nuna- (to enjoy oneself). Compare nuannerpoq (is nice), and nuannaraa (like, appreciate).
