Etymology

From Proto-Albanian *raðā, from Proto-Indo-European *Hreh₁dʰ- (to arrange), hence Old Norse ráða, German raten (to advise; guess). Alternatively related to rreth (wheel), close to Proto-Germanic *raðo (row) (compare Old Norse rǫð (row), Middle Low German gerade (growing straight upwards)), also connected to *rathan (wheel).[1]

Noun

radhë f (plural radhë, definite radha, definite plural radhët)

  1. row, queue, line, rank
