Etymology

From (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Proto-Albanian *skatja. Cognate to Latin scateō (to stream, to flow out), Lithuanian skantù, skàsti (to spring, to jump) and perhaps to Ancient Greek σκάξω (skáxō, to be lame).[1]
