T- from plural (from ligature particle ) + archaic singular (Arbëresh) jetër, from Proto-Albanian *étera sg, *etérai pl, from Proto-Indo-European *h₁e-tero- (compare Latin cēterus (the other one), Ancient Greek ἕτερος (héteros, other, another), Umbrian etro- (another), Old Church Slavonic етеръ (eterŭ, someone), Avestan 𐬀𐬙𐬁𐬭𐬀 (atāra, this one of the two)).[3]
