Etymology
[edit]From Proto-Oghuz *yaŋša-. Cognate with Turkish yanşamak, Turkmen ýanjamak. Also is pronounced as yaşa, yeşa, eyşa, etc. Oldest records point yaşa, yayşa, yanşa, etc.
