- minority (group of people who have a different ethnicity, religion, language or culture from that of the majority of people in the place where they live)

Usage notes
[edit]- ме́ншість is the generic term for any kind of minority, whereas менши́на refers more narrowly to a minority group with a distinctive ethnic, linguistic, religious or cultural identity.
