      وَأَسْفَرَتِ ٱلْعَمَلِيَّةُ ٱلَّتِي نَفَّذَتْهَا ٱلْمُخَابَرَاتُ ٱلْعِرَاقِيَّةُ وِفْقَ ٱلْبَيَانِ عَنِ «ٱعْتِقَالِ بَعْضِ ٱلْخَاطِفِينَ وَقَتْلِ أَحَدِهِمْ خِلَالَهَا، وَتَتِّمُ مُلَاحَقَةُ بَقِيَّةِ أَفْرَادِ ٱلْعِصَابَةِ».
      waʔasfarati l-ʕamaliyyatu llatī naffaḏathā l-muḵābarātu l-ʕirāqiyyatu wifqa l-bayāni ʕani “ʕtiqāli baʕḍi l-ḵāṭifīna waqatli ʔaḥadihim ḵilālahā, watattimu mulāḥaqatu baqiyyati ʔafrādi l-ʕiṣābati”.
      And the operation which the Iraqi intelligence carried out, led, according to the statement, to “the arrest of a deal of the kidnappers and to the killing of one of them during the course of it, and the pursuit of the rest of the individuals of the gang is proceeding.”
