      al-mubālaḡatu ḥattā fī l-fiʕli n-nabīli tuḥawwiluhu ʔilā fiʕlin mustankarin, fal-mubālaḡatu fī l-ḥubbi tuḥawwiluhu ʔilā raḡbatin fī t-tamalluki, wal-mubālaḡatu fī l-karami ʔisrāfun, wal-mubālaḡatu fī t-tawfīri baḵlun, wal-mubālaḡatu fī ṯ-ṯiqati saḏājatun
      the exaggeration turns even noble deeds into questionable ones, the exaggeration in love turns into desire for possession, the exaggeration in generosity is extravagance and the exaggeration of thrift is stinginess and the exaggeration of trust is naivety
