[edit]Related to Classical Syriac ܟܲܝ (kay, “interrogative enclitic, rhetorical and/or expressing uncertainty”) with the same meaning as the first meaning of the usage of this term as a particle. Also found in Turoyo ܩܰܝ (qai).
