      कड्ढि सायराउ मुररिउणा रोहि-मच्छ-रूविणा ।
      चत्तारि-वि सडंगवरवेय जग-उब्भव-भाव-भाविणा ॥
      kaḍḍhi sāyarāu murariuṇā rohi-maccha-rūviṇā.
      cattāri-vi saḍaṃgavaraveya jaga-ubbhava-bhāva-bhāviṇā.
      Murari (Vishnu), taking the form of a rohu fish (Matsya),
      inspired by the spirit of the salvation of the world,
      respectfully revealed all the four Vedas along with their six parts.
