ゾロ (zoro

Can also be written ぞろ or ぞうろ. Possibly derived from ぞろり; see also the term ゾロ目.

  1. (games) a set of several identical values. Examples of use include:
    1. the dice game チンチロリン, where ピンゾロ means a roll consisting of three aces;
    2. the hanafuda (花札) games 八八 and 六百間 (among others), where the term refers to a pair;
    3. the kabufuda (株札) or hanafuda game おいちょかぶ, where it refers to a triplet (equivalent to the term アラシ) or pair.
