From Aramaic תְּסִילָא (t'silá). First attested in Talmudic Hebrew.

Noun[edit]

תָּסִיל (tasílm (plural indefinite תְּסִילִים, singular construct תְּסִיל־, plural construct תְּסִילֵי־) [pattern: קָטִיל]

  1. (very rare, perhaps obsolete) A kind of pigeon or dove.
  2. (תְּסִיל־, t'síl-) Singular construct state form of תָּסִיל.
