Relative adjective (nisba) composed of أَبَارِيق (ʔabārīq, pitchers) +‎ ـِيّ (-iyy).

Noun[edit]

أَبَارِيقِيّ (ʔabārīqiyym (plural أَبَارِيقِيُّونَ (ʔabārīqiyyūna), feminine أَبَارِيقِيَّة (ʔabārīqiyya))

  1. One who sells pitchers.
    اِشْتَرَيْتُ إِبْرِيقًا لِلْمَاءِ مِنَ الْأَبَارِيقِيِّ.
    ištaraytu ʔibrīqan li-l-māʔi mina al-ʔabārīqiyyi.
    I bought a water pitcher from the pitcher-seller.
