    • 12th Century CE, Ibn al-Farid, أدِرْ ذِكْرَ مَن أهْوى ولو بمَلامِ:
      لِيَشْهَدَ سَمْعِي مَنْ أُحِبُّ وَإِن نَأَى بِطَيْفِ مَلَامٍ لَا بِطَيْفِ مَنَامِ
      liyašhada samʕī man ʔuḥibbu waʔin naʔā biṭayfi malāmin lā biṭayfi manāmi
