Etymology[edit]
Inherited from Sauraseni Prakrit 𑀫𑀼𑀕𑁆𑀕 (mugga), from Sanskrit मुद्ग (mudga). Doublet of मुद्ग (mudg), a tatsama. Cognate with Gujarati મગ (mag), Marathi मूग (mūg).
