The instructive plural form of -in (superlative suffix).

  1. Makes superlative forms of adverbs, primarily -sti adverbs.

Usage notes[edit]

Added to the adverbial stem (obtained by removing the last -sti), with dropping of the final vowel if it is -a-, -e-, -i- or -ä- (comparable to -in).
