Arabic scale (plural Arabic scales)

  1. double harmonic scale, a scale with two augmented seconds.
  2. quarter tone scale, or 24 tone equal temperament.
  3. 17 equal temperament, a tuning dividing the octave into 17 equal steps.
  4. major Locrian scale, a scale similar to Locrian.
