Birchism (usually uncountable, plural Birchisms)

1. Political ideology espoused by or associated with the John Birch Society, a conservative or right-wing organization in the United States.
   • 1964, Daniel Bell, The Radical Right, page 234:

     An important symptom of the difference between McCarthyism and Birchism is the shift in the geographical center of gravity. This is a move from the Middle West to the Southwest.
