- A small coastal village and civil parish (without a council) in East Suffolk district, Suffolk, England, previously in Suffolk Coastal district (OS grid ref TM4770).
- A town on North Stradbroke Island, Queensland, Australia.
Usage notes[edit]
The Suffolk village was once a medieval town and port, much of which has been lost to the sea due to coastal erosion over several centuries. As a result, it had the dubious distinction of being a rotten borough.
