Nevada County

  1. One of 75 counties in Arkansas, United States. County seat: Prescott. It was so named as it is roughly the shape of the state of Nevada when inverted.
  2. One of 58 counties in California, United States. County seat: Nevada City. Named after the city, in 1851, not the state of Nevada which was created in 1861.
