Shilluk (plural Shilluks or Shilluk)

  1. A member of a major Luo Nilotic ethnic group residing in the northeastern Upper Nile state of South Sudan on both banks of the Nile River in Malakal.

  2. (historical) A kingdom dominated by the Shilluk people, located along the left bank of the White Nile in what is now South Sudan and southern Sudan, and existing from perhaps the late 15th century until the early 1860s.
