@Vahagn Petrosyan: Looks like it could be from the root ه و ي (h-w-y), namely one of the Aramaic words ending in the emphatic state singular in -īṯā, although such a word is not known from the Aramaic dictionaries, only well in Arabic (and even its root has not often been understood as well as I have explained it). - @Fay Freak: that suffix gives -իթ (-itʻ) in Armenian, not -իտ (-it). I don't think that root is related. --Vahag (talk) 10:19, 22 September 2020 (UTC)
