Misprounced in the mainland? The mainland sets the standards. Mandarin originates from the mainland and you say people not from the mainland are correct? --2.245.175.191 14:07, 6 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

That note was added by someone from the mainland. You should also note that it says "sometimes". The mere fact that someone says something on the mainland doesn't make it standard, as I'm sure any teacher on the mainland would agree. Chuck Entz (talk) 16:42, 6 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Philippines Hokkien[edit]

@Justinrleung, Mar vin kaiser, Mlgc1998 Isn't the sense added in diff equivalent to the current sense 2? RcAlex36 (talk) 15:30, 21 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@RcAlex36: Yep, you're right. I'm removing the edit. @Mlgc1998 The idea in Philippine Hokkien of bringing someone to another place is part of definition 2. --Mar vin kaiser (talk) 02:33, 22 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
