Use of italics in definitions[edit]

What’s the significance of senses 3 and 4 being in italics? β€” SGconlaw (talk) 04:56, 9 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

The italic indicates a non-gloss definition using {{non-gloss definition}}. In other words, agurru does not mean "a metal object" in general, but is some kind of unidentified object which we know is made of metal because of context. Perhaps a better approach is to simply write "a kind of impost", "some kind of metal object" without italics. --Vahag (talk) 09:38, 9 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
