@Benwing2 Would it be worth it to add /-izm/ as a proscribed but very common (so much so that I didn't know it was proscribed until recently) realisation of French -isme, alongside /-ism/? To Module:fr-pron I mean. --Per utramque cavernam (talk) 13:01, 18 April 2018 (UTC)Reply

@Per utramque cavernam Maybe? The module doesn't currently support returning multiple values or marking some of them as proscribed; it's possible to implement it but it would take a bit of work. Benwing2 (talk) 02:16, 19 April 2018 (UTC)Reply
@Benwing2: That would be nice, but that's not urgent at all. We can always add these manually anyway.
Another question though: do you think the French headword templates could be improved so that words containing an apostrophe are properly parsed? An example: jusqu’à pas d’heure is currently parsed as [[jusqu'à]] [[pas]] [[d'heure]] (→ jusqu’à pas d’heure), and you have to use the head parameter to fix that, which I find quite tedious. @Per utramque cavernam: I understand how annoying it is. However, as User:Angr said in that discussion, we'd have to take code that isn't language-specific and add special hacks for French, which would be ugly. Benwing2 (talk) 09:51, 25 April 2018 (UTC)Reply
@Benwing2: You mean we'd have to edit the main headword module and add language-specific code there? If yes, I agree that that would be ugly and best avoided. But couldn't we do that in Module:fr-headword? --Per utramque cavernam (talk) 10:06, 25 April 2018 (UTC)Reply
@Per utramque cavernam: You're right, I forgot about those, I do think it can be done in Module:fr-headword. Benwing2 (talk) 09:37, 26 April 2018 (UTC)Reply
@Benwing2: Will you have a look at it when you have some time? I'd appreciate it. By the way, I hope I haven't offended you with this message; if I have, I apologise. "awful" was a bit strong anyway. --Per utramque cavernam (talk) 12:05, 26 April 2018 (UTC)Reply
@Per utramque cavernam: I'll take a look soon. You didn't offend me, don't worry :) Benwing2 (talk) 03:14, 27 April 2018 (UTC)Reply
