onomatopœiæ[edit]

Way too rare to merit entries. --Æ&Œ (talk) 11:50, 18 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

On a side note, I kind of like how you can see ‘onomatopceiae’ in this text, but searching for it in Google Books reveals three unrelated books. Just further proof that Google sucks fucking balls. --Æ&Œ (talk) 11:58, 18 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

hæmatopœesis[edit]

More rare crap that I added. --Æ&Œ (talk) 10:04, 20 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

Of course we don't exclude rare terms unless they're too rare (unattestable). Renard Migrant (talk) 11:30, 20 September 2014 (UTC)Reply
Goupil, we only include terms if they have three uses in Google Books or Google Groups. Ѯ&Π(talk) 12:05, 20 September 2014 (UTC)Reply
Not quite. We only include terms if they have three uses in durably archived sources. There must be millions of books, magazines, and newspapers in existence that aren't in Boogle Gooks yet, it's just a pain going through them all to look for specific words and spellings. —Aɴɢʀ (talk) 12:40, 20 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

præsidency[edit]

The transcription of the text says ‘presidency,’ not præsidency like it actually says. —Æ&Œ (talk) 12:05, 20 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

gynæconome[edit]

--Æ&Œ (talk) 11:50, 18 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

I've managed to find two English citations of gynæconome, two of gyneconome, and one of gynaeconome. (Gynæconome is also citable as a French word.) If someone could find just one or two more English citation(s)... - -sche (discuss) 18:54, 7 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

algæsthesis[edit]

--Æ&Œ (talk) 11:50, 18 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

Moved to algesthesis, with algaesthesis as an alt form, since those were the only two forms I could find citations of. - -sche (discuss) 23:21, 7 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

œnomaniac[edit]

--Æ&Œ (talk) 11:50, 18 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

Moved to oenomaniac, which I was just barely able to cite. (I couldn't find any citations of the ligatured form.) - -sche (discuss) 23:06, 7 March 2015 (UTC)Reply
