Split Definition #1

In general use, the meaning of curious seems to break into three categories: having curiosity, caused by curiosity, or creating curiosity, i.e. definitions 1, 2, 3.

However, in the sense of #1, suggest that one can be curious as either a state of mind or as a personal tendency, and these are different. So #1 might be split in two. People are curious, in general, in that they tend to want to know things that they do not. But one who is incurious by nature, can still be curious as to “what has it got in its pocketses?" and vice versa.
