rfv-sense: "An instance of such abnormal activity or behaviour; rape." Perversion means rape?! Equinox 14:04, 30 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Any abstract noun can be made concrete with the meaning "instance of X". I think this should be RFD'd. --WikiTiki89 14:51, 30 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
This should remain in RFV. Citations should be provided such that they use "perversion" in a way that restricts the meaning to "rape". --Dan Polansky (talk) 19:13, 30 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I don't think that the definition ever intended to say that it "means" rape. I just gives rape as an example. --WikiTiki89 19:33, 30 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I went ahead and removed "rape" as non-synonym of what is before the semicolon. The sense now in RFV is this:
  • "An instance of such abnormal activity or behaviour."

I think this is likely to pass RFV, but I still would like to RFD it. --WikiTiki89 16:23, 1 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
