Nominative singular[edit]

The nominative singular has "none". In fact I strongly doubt that the noun was defective and that the nominative singular did not exist - more likely, I would have thought, is that it is simply by chance unattested. It would be more accurate then to have "unattested".

My guess is that the nominative singular was "vix" and this indeed is what the French page has. So I propose altering the entry to read:

"*vix (unattested)"
