+ Dari[edit]

From User_talk:Kaixinguo~enwiktionary#Vocalised_Persian_question_-_ezafe:

@Kaixinguo~enwiktionary: Hi. I'm not great with templates, we can always ask at WT:GP. I'm not sure about your 'bacheche'/'bachcha' example but I found this example about the difference between Iranian Persian and Dari - نخیر (naxeyr) ("naxayr" in Dari).

Did you mean something like that: Vocalised Persian: نَخِیر‎, Dari: نَخَیر? Also @Kaixinguo~enwiktionary, Suzukaze-c who edited this. --Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 13:17, 26 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry for the delayed reply. I would put 'Iran' and 'Afghanistan' or 'Iranian Persian' and 'Dari Persian', i.e. I wouldn't make the Persian of Iran a default. On the other hand, perhaps the labels had better be omitted as maybe some pronunciations could appear dialectically in one country etc. I was thinking it would be a good chance to show the -e/-a endings, though. It would be good to have more input from people who have edited Persian.
I have now seen another template: {{Template:fa-pronunciation-harakat}}, used at صاعقه. That's another option for a different style. I found this related discussion: User_talk:Opiaterein/Archive_2012#fa-ipa. Kaixinguo~enwiktionary (talk) 14:18, 27 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
