The speed gain by the recent change

[edit]

...is one byte per use. Yes, really. Do you really think that is worth it? -- Liliana 07:45, 4 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

This template is used many times per page, chiefly on pages which already have other problems, so any gain in speed / reduction in template-calls is good. Whereas, there's no downside to using xs=, is there? I can use AWB or any of our many scripters can write scripts to find and change all instances of xs=Whatever if a language has to be renamed without using its template's Whatlinkshere. - -sche (discuss) 08:02, 4 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

Parameter 3 for gender

[edit]

See the discussion about allowing gender to be supplied in |3= (diff) at User talk:Erutuon § Erroneous conversion to t-simple. — Eru·tuon 20:36, 16 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

[edit]

The following information has failed Wiktionary's deletion process (permalink).

It should not be re-entered without careful consideration.

A lite (i.e. Lua-free) version of {{t}}, intended for use in translation sections, which has long been redundant to {{multitrans}}. Not used on any pages, and I see no obvious reason why we would ever need it. Theknightwho (talk) 00:43, 2 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

@Theknightwho Delete. This was once used on a lot of pages but thankfully is no longer necessary. Benwing2 (talk) 04:56, 21 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

Deleted, and good riddance. Theknightwho (talk) 15:37, 27 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
