Delete This is not a restricted-use label. DCD, category tags are for categorization. If we need something that does more than a category tag, then let's talk about it in the BP. Context labels are for usage, and having all of these category tags looking like labels is misleading.

But really, if we want to say that a tool is a tool, that is part of the definition. Maybe we need a template to use in the definition, the way we use {term} in the etymology. How about {genus|tool} to use in a w:genus-differentia definitions? This could help implement a restricted vocabulary for defining. —Michael Z. 2010-03-23 23:48 z

Category tags do not operate at the sense level. At best they operate at the language level (multiple etymologies, multiple PoSs). Poor definitions are a problem. Poor transfer of good innovations from our best entries in a semantic class to others in that class slows the correction of the problem. DCDuring TALK 00:09, 24 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
