Hi. It doesn't belong on that rhyme page because the stress is not on the final syllable. Equinox 14:43, 17 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Are you sure? In my dialect, there's a subsidiary stress on the ultimate syllable, enough that it sounds like a rhyme. —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 14:45, 17 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
Possibly, then. I think all of the ones already on the page are final-stressed the way I'd say them, at least (e.g. recreATE, reinflATE, but no MASturbate, capITulate). Equinox 14:47, 17 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
That's just reflective of the inherent problem with our rhyme pages. I went to a spoken word slam a few days ago, and rhyming was a lot more free than our somewhat prescriptivist approach would lead one to believe. —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 00:54, 18 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
