Best ice cream example vote[edit]

Example voting style for intuitive "Wiktionary-style +1/0/-1 voting".

"{{subst:support}}" counts as +1,
"{{subst:abstain}}" counts as 0 but allows for comments,
"{{subst:oppose}}" counts as -1.

With this vote, we shall end the million-year old controversy of which flavor of ice cream is the best. Add additional flavors as L4 headings, before "Decision".

In Asia, where I have been for the past year and a half and lived for the past four years, there are very few quality ice cream brands.     Incorrect. I have no knowledge of ice cream styles in Italy, China, Peru or Algeria, so I didn't enter any such choices; as you have demonstrated below, options can be added easily. I was hopeful that we'd get a whole bunch of really obscure choices, but so far that hasn't happened. In this case, yes, I think no consensus is the result. Could either of you please explain that numerically? The majority criterion for this vote was not established, so I assumed that the vote tally had to be greater than zero, which it was. But that's probably the most minimal consensus criterion there is.   • I think is it worth noting how skewed the "result" was; can we conclude that all en.wiktionary votes are so under-representative that none should be considered "binding" or permanent?
