Support[edit]

  1. Support Equinox 22:17, 14 December 2010 (UTC) Reluctantly. I don't think this vote is the right way to approach the problem, but I haven't seen any other better approach, and I agree with the general thrust of it. I can't take it very seriously though. Oppose[edit]

  1. Oppose Daniel. 20:07, 10 December 2010 (UTC) The creator of "Wiktionary:Votes/pl-2010-12/CFI amendment" did not provide any reason for the deletion of that entry. If any word complies with all rules and regulations, then I would expect it to be kept. A hypothetycal policy that excludes MissingNo. presumably would be based on recognizable characteristics of what is to be avoided on Wiktionary. In my experience, criteria for exclusion (ex.: "sum-of-parts", "inflection of deleted entry", etc.) are expected to apply to multiple words, not just one. If MissingNo. should be deleted according to an existing policy or one introduced in the future, then naturally words in similar circumstances such as the alternative spelling Missingno would be deleted as well. --Daniel. 20:16, 10 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  2. Oppose Clearly, it's a joke, but I don't understand the objective. I would propose another admendment instead: removing mentions of fictional universes from CFI. Lmaltier 20:17, 10 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  3. Oppose, essentially per Daniel. Adding ad hoc rules is not the way. What's that saying about the history of an organization's being readable by examining its bylaws?—msh210 (talk) 18:32, 14 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Abstain[edit]

  1. Abstain — Beobach 20:22, 10 December 2010 (UTC) I abstain until we draft a serious proposal. (Make suggestions on the talk page!)[reply]

Decision[edit]

Deleted early, in 14 December 2010. I'm closing this as unfinished, anyway. --Daniel 17:34, 25 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
