Etymology[edit]
From a catchphrase of Bender, the rebellious robot character from Futurama, which originally came from bite my ass; compare bite me. Predating Bender's use of the phrase, the similar phrasing "kiss my shiny plastic butt" is used in the film Bride of Chucky.
