Etymology[edit]
eco- + -centrism. The ecocentric ethic was conceived by Aldo Leopold.[1] (This etymology is missing or incomplete. Please add to it, or discuss it at the Etymology scriptorium. Particularly: “so did he actually coin this word or not?”)
