From Russian голомя́нка (golomjánka).

Noun[edit]

golomyanka (plural golomyankas)

  1. Either of two species of fish of the family Cottidae, endemic to Lake Baikal in Siberia (Comephorus baicalensis and Comephorus dybowskii).
