kubutz (plural kubutzes)

  1. A Hebrew nikud diacritical mark (◌ֻ) in the form of three diagonal dots underneath a letter. Kubutz is pronounced as (Modern Israeli Hebrew) /u/, like the vowel “o” in “moon”.
