Etymology[edit]
From Old Swedish mylna, mölna, mölla, from Middle Low German molne, molle (cf. German Mühle, Danish mølle, Icelandic mylna). From Late Latin molina, derivation of earlier mola (“mill”), from Proto-Indo-European *melh₂- (“to grind, crush”).
