overdetermined (comparative more overdetermined, superlative most overdetermined)
- (of a problem or question) which suffers so many constraints that it has no solution.
- (linear algebra, of a system of linear equations) which has more equations than variables.
- (usually psychoanalysis) be determined by multiple causes in such a way that any of the causes on its own would be sufficient to account for the effect.
